An OSS Pack is not a warranty extension rather it is a separate contract that commences from within 30 days of the date the Canon hardware is installed.

For example if you buy a three-year Canon OSS Pack it will give the associated hardware three years of service cover not 12 months plus three years. 

And don’t forget with Canon the OSS covers all parts labour call out and even print heads
